Beautiful Garden above Les Halles.And after we got sick of fighting the crowds at the Louvre, we continued our personal walking tour of the city. We passed these beautiful gardens above Les Halles. Wandering around and stumbling on unexpected beauty is my favorite part of traveling.
Another view of the Forum les Halles.By now we were getting hungry for lunch, so grabbed fromage and jambon crepes. I couldn't let a visit to Paris end without getting a street crepe. Delicious. And then we headed to the Ile de la Cite to see Notre Dame. A lovely walk along the river and we were there.
